摘要：The celebration of International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA2009) in Portugal offered many people their first opportunity to learn about astronomy in a relaxed and informal environment. Measuring the impact of informal learning is a difficult but worthwhile endeavour, so that the organising committees of science communication projects can learn.
