摘要:The superhelicity of double-stranded, closed circular SV40 DNA was altered by the addition of various amounts of ethidium bromide. The interaction of f1 histone with the series of molecules of various superhelicities was studied. The extent of interaction increases with increasing superhelicity regardless of whether it is of the positive or negative sense. The interaction of f1 histone with superhelical DNA is shown to be reversible.
