摘要:This paper proposes a distribution-free test for the two-sample scale problem in ranked set samples. The proposed test assumes that the distribution functions of the populations have a common quantile. It is shown that the new test is uniformly more efficient than its simple random sample analog. The paper also proposes a method to provide a consistent variance estimate of the test statistic under null hypothesis and imperfect judgment ranking so that test is asymptotically distribution free even under imperfect judgment ranking.
