摘要：We documented the abundance and distribution of amphibian larvae and macroinvertebrates one and two years following a winterkill in a small pond in the winter of 2000. The densities of bivalves, damselfly nymphs, snails, dragonfly nymphs, nematodes, and crayfish did not differ significantly between years. Five taxa (dipteran larvae, hemipterans, Rana sp. tadpoles, Blued [Lepomis macrochirus], and coleopteran larvae) were observed in 2002 but not in 2001. For all taxa, densities in Wood Duck Pond tended to be lower than those reported in other nearby ponds. Thus, although recovery from the winterkill was progressing, the fauna of this small permanent pond was still affected two years later.
