摘要：With the launch of “Universal ID Authority of India” Project, the idea of unique identification number has caught the fancy of Indians. The Indian Armed Forces have had this system in place for many years. This is being done in a well organised manner. However, advances need to be brought in information technology to the Armed Forces in a scientific manner, to facilitate foolproof identification, and maintenance of service / health records.
