摘要:Since secondary school physics and chemistry curricula are based on context-based approach, REACT strategy, which has been getting popular in Turkish context, is confused with 5E model because of its structure and content. In this context, this study illustrates similarities and differences of the REACT strategy and the 5E model based on “acids and bases” topic. Therefore, this study will be a guide for teachers who will implement the new secondary science curricula and for researchers wishing to develop and implement materials based on the REACT strategy.
