摘要:UV radiation has been considered for years as a powerful agent of deterioration
for various materials. However, since 1925, has also been used for the diagnostics
of collections, as a nondestructive analytical tool that allows, among other things,
detect previous restorations and certain constituent materials of the works, to have
these different patterns of behavior to light UV. This technique is known as visible
fluorescence induced by UV light. This article reviews the applications of technique
in the field of conservation, as well as discusses the methodology and progress of
the implementation in the Cncr to this analysis tool.
