摘要：Problem statement: A lot of data can be obtained by system simulation using transaction level models without affecting the performance of the system. Due to huge amount of the raw data, we often need to post-process them to extract valuable information. Profiling capabilities of commercial tools provide predefined functionalities and don’t allow users to add or modify for their own purpose. Approach: This study proposed a general frame study for the automation of post-processing simulation results using Boolean representation. The proposed frame study consists of Boolean expresser, manipulator and analyzer. Results: The frame study was illustrated with a case study of deadline miss detection. Conclusion: The frame study was practical as it provides flexibility, generality and ease of use.
