摘要：In this work we present a simplified effective description of the final state of the gravitational collapse of a uniformly rotating protoneutron star, approximated by a compressible homogeneous triaxial ellipsoid. The generation of gravitational waves is treated within the weak field limit. The method can be applied to estimate the intensity of the radiated gravitational waves during the core collapse.
