摘要:The present article provides information about the academic and behavioral sequelae of students who sustain a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The focus is on how teachers can implement strategies to improve academic performance and alter the behavior of middle/secondary level students. The academic problems and behaviors included in this article are those typically associated with those students who have sustained a TBI and who have not been involved in a successful school reentry program. A critique is offered of dominant classroom sub-cultures as environments for inclusion of TBI victims.
