Lack of vision, instead of finding new facts, is a key problem of modern economic science. The art of economics is lost due to the fact that economists have favored the methodology of positive economics. The methodology of the art of economics is much more complex, less deterministic, relies upon institutions and a close network between economy and society. Instead of utopia, economists should develop evtopia, a society that develops and changes itself. This system fosters knowledge human capacities, and systematically incorporates all new knowledge adapting itself to the changing circumstances.
