摘要：Background. Today’s development of medical diagnostic andtherapeutic tools is characterized by high speed, close connectionand interaction with other scientific disciplines, by increasingdifferences of accessibility to the latest diagnostic and therapeuticresearch, by man’s living conditions, and by locally high and lowpopulation densities. To notify, measure, and potentially smooththese differences, communication systems are mandatory that focuson distribution and practical access to improving individual patient’sdiagnosis and treatment as well as to monitor and assist in socialhealth. In the following, development and implementation of medicaltelecommunication in the past, today, and expectations of its futurecharacteristics are described.
