摘要：Technologies such as bar coding and radio-frequency identification (RFID) provide quick, accurate and cost-effective ways to identify, track, acquire and manage data and information about items, personnel, transactions and resources. These are known as the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) technologies. Singapore has been a forerunner in some AIDC technology applications and this article gives an overview of these as well as a look at new developments in this area.
