摘要：Safety awareness is running high in the automotive industry with the setting up of the “ Global Road Safety Partnership ” (see box). For many years already, with the support of the industry and its users, ISO has devoted many efforts to the preparation of International Standards in the field of vehicle design and their equipment, in close cooperation with WP 29 – the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations. The roadmap has now been charted and it is now a matter of keeping on track. But this is not enough.
