摘要：The importance of maintaining prop- er security over financial transac- tions, transaction data, customer account information, and personal infor- mation has been highlighted by increas- ing reports of identity theft, compromised account information, security breaches, and sophisticated attacks. Organizations that process financial transactions are increasingly implementing encryption mechanisms and stronger user authen- tication to protect sensitive information. Many organizations are using public key infrastructure (PKI) technology as part of their security architecture and risk management framework.
