摘要:This article examines whether students’ dispositional factors associated with human relationships (shyness, sensitivity to rejection, affiliative tendency, and self-monitoring) influenced their expectation of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in their future workplace. Hierarchical regression analysis was adopted to analyze data collected from 335 students at a private university in Tokyo. Shyness had a significantly negative effect on three of five OCB dimensions, and self-monitoring had a significantly positive impact on two of them. Of the two aspects of affiliation motive, the positive effect of affiliative tendency on all OCB dimensions was significant, whereas only two effects of sensitivity to rejection were significant. The significant moderating effects of gender and work experience were also found in four of the five models. Some implications of these results for organizational researchers and educators were also discussed. Full Text
