摘要:Organizational knowledge creation should be viewed as a process of sharing information, where we can identify the creation and utilization of knowledge. Knowledge creation occurs when there is a process of sharing information. In the partnership and collaboration perspective, alliance is seen as a mean to promote and facilitate learning. This phenomenon is the main purpose of this paper, where it will define and discuss the key facilitating learning in strategic alliances. The methodology used for this research was an in-depth qualitative case study. Two respondent organizations were studied. One case was from the manufacturing sector and the other was from the service sector. Both organizations entered into alliances with learning as one of the key strategic objectives. The final part of the paper will summarize the findings and suggest key elements that promote learning as well as elements that inhibit learning from foreign parent partner to the ‘child businesses in the case of international strategic alliance.
