摘要：This research study is conducted to identify and analyze the causes of delay in construction sector of Pakistan. A questionnaire survey on time performance of different types of construction projects in Pakistan was conducted to determine the causes of delay. The delay causes were described due to different construction project participants and their importance and frequency to each of the project participants i.e. the Government, Consultant and Contractors was also discussed. In this field, we have surveyed many projects and collected vast data from different Government Agencies, Services Suppliers and Contractors. In this response, the common causes of delay identified by all three parties are insufficient funds, change orders and contractor capability at stake. Some solutions for solving or lessening the delay causes are also recommended. Full Text
