摘要:European regions do not benefit from integration profits in a fair way. Economic growth has been distributed in such a way that a very strong and stable centre-nucleus has been consolidated opposite to a very diverse periphery and with a lot of contrasts. Economic globalisation has hardened competence. In order to guarantee and achieve upper levels than world competition standards, regional territories are to raise active policies to enhance their attractiveness. We are attending to a territorial economic diversification process; later on, we are present at dis-localisation dynamics due to international competence and a greater economic globalisation; and, at present, a new productive and territorial model is being shaped. Ongoing regional strategies emphasise on economic revalue of their territories; on the improvement of accesibility conditions; and on intensifying internal relations of their economic and social agents. The aim is to change centrifugal trends and decisive centres displacements
