摘要：This paper analyses the determination of the working time in two aspects: duration and timing. The result emerges from the equilibrium between the labor demand made by the firms and the labor supply by the employees. For this objetive, we define the technology which organise the inputs in shiftwork. We also define the preferences of the labor force respect to work in the different shifts which are available. The model determines at the equilibrium both the amount of inputs and the timing of shifts.
