摘要:Hub-and-spoke organization systems are becoming prevalent in marine transportation due to a trend for building ever larger container carrier ships, which can be made profitable only if their inactivity periods are reduced. To do that the number of stops at hub ports must be reduced. But hub-and-spoke systems appear constantly not only in marine transportation but in air and ground transportation as well. Thus methodologic formulations are needed that allow us to undertake the study of all of them. In this paper we look at one of such shared approaches from the econometric analysis of time series using of SVAR (Structural Vector Autorregresions) models with long-run restrictions.
