摘要：Transport is considered for the most important element in the logistics system because it connects different parts of the logistics chain. Transport of raw materials, semi-finished or finished products is carried out by the movement of various means of transport on the ways from the production site to the point of composition. The downtimes which arise during transport of goods in the system door to door for instance loading, unloading of goods or custom inspections can be eliminated by the incorporation of multimodal logistics centre (MLC) in the logistics chain. This centre provides storage, distribution of goods and other logistics services. Each inland port can be considered for this centre. It performs loading, unloading, transport of goods and other functions associated with the complex services of vessels, crew or goods.
