摘要:The objective of the study was to evaluate differences in protein and amino acids content of selected bee pollen samples from: Papaver somniferum L. and Brassica napus subsp. napus L. Samples were collected during the spring season 2007 from different regions of west Slovakia. Fresh bee pollen was stored at -18 °C and 20 % moisture for approximately six months until analysis. Total proteins and amino acids contents were determined by standard methods in the accredited analytic laboratory – EL Ltd., Spi.ská Nová Ves. Pollen samples were homogenized, and then they were further processed according to target chemical compounds for determination. The sum of proteins decreased in the order: P. somniferum > B. napus pollen. Average value of protein content reached 22.32 ± 0.55 g/100 g-1 sample. The highest value of amino acids content was detected for P. somniferum in case of non-essential amino acids - aspartic acid, proline and glutamic acid; where as for B. napus pollen nonessential amino acids were - proline, glutamic acid; and the essential amino acid was - lysine. Pollens collected from different genus demonstrated different protein and amino acids profiles.differe
