摘要:Japanese persimmon (Diospyros kaki L) is cultivated in subtropical and warm regions of the world. In last years there is observable an intensive introduction of this tree to European countries. Slovakia showed some interest as well; therefore our team started a biochemical characterization of Japanese persimmon fruits grown in the Botanical Garden of Nitra. Biochemical analyses showed in freeze-dried fruits (37.9 g.kg-1) of fibre, (33.20 g.kg-1) proteins, 16 aminoacids, (15.5 g.kg-1) fats, 14 fatty acids, (7.6 – 9.8 %) fructose, (6.3 – 8.7 %) glucose, vitamins (C vitamín 247 mg.kg-1) and mineral substances. By the comparison of results gained from our analyses with those found in literature it is to assert on high degree of correspondence between them. These data are documenting the Slovakia environmental suitability for the cultivation of the Japanese persimmon, which can in our country produce fruits with high nutritional value utilizable in practice.
