摘要:Identification of geographical and botanical origin is one of the qualitative criteria of bee pollen as a new nutritive food supplement. The aim of the work was to propose the evaluation systems – descriptors for characterization of size, weight, shape, colour and chemical composition of pollen pellet. For each trait we propose a descriptor which consists of classification states, with the maximum possible states being 9 and the minimum 2. We propose the descriptors for following quantitative traits – pellet weight (mg), pellet area (mm2), feret minimum (mm), feret maximum (mm), pellet height (mm), pellet width (mm), shape index (width/height), symmetry (feret min/feret max). Also, we proposed evaluation systems for substance contents in dry matter viz., total proteins (%), total lipids (%), total saccharides (%) and ash (%). Among qualitative characters we proposed pellet compactness, surface structure, shape, shape of heart shaped pellets, depth of recess on heart shaped pellets, colour homogeneity, and colour hue. A total of 114 pellet samples of different geographical and botanical origin were proposed. Using tools of image analyses (software AxioVision) data for quantitative traits were obtained. Individual descriptor ranges for quantitative traits were determined by function of fuzzy sets. In the case of qualitative traits the pellets were evaluated visually.
