摘要:Cobalt is an essential trace element. It is an integral part of vitamin B12, or cobalamin. The present study was carried out to investigate possible effects of cobalt (Co) administration on porcine ovarian granulosa cells in relation to progesterone (P4) release. Ovarian granulosa cells were incubated in the medium with 10 % fetal calf serum, 1 % antibotic–antimycotic solution and with/without cobalt sulphate for 18 hours: groups - Max (1.0 mg Co.ml-1), A - (1:2 dilution), B - (1:10) and the control group - without Co addition. The release of progesterone by cultured granulosa cells was assessed by RIA. Obtained data indicate Co– induced inhibition of progesterone release by ovarian granulosa cells at the lowest concentration.
