  • 摘要:The aim of our study was to evaluate influence of the time of maturation on the chemical and microbial quality of animal compost. The observed chemical properties include fytotoxity, Cox, pH and dehydrogenase activity. The microbial quality was tested according to microbial carbon Cmic, and abundance of coliform bacteria, thermo-tolerant coliform bacteria, fecal Streptococci, spores of bacteria, actinomycetes and microscopic fungi from keratinophilic group. After three years a decrease was observed, but not for the number (except thermotolerant coliform bacteria) as per the Directive No. 1774/2002 of the European Parliament and the European Council. The keratinophilic fungi included geophilic dermatophytes (Absidia corymbifera, Aspergillus fumigatus, Microsporum gypseum, Pseudallescheria boydii, Trichophyton ajelloi) which were present in compost after two and three years, too. The final compost could not be referred to as environmentally safe
