摘要:The aim of our study was to observe the effect of digested sludge and bottom sediment in soil samples on representation of coliform bacteria, thermotolerant coliform bacteria and enterococci for 105 days of incubation. The two doses of digested sludge and bottom sediments were added to the soil in a proportion of 20 t ha-1 (0.33g and 50 g soil) and 80 t ha-1 (1.33g and 50 g soil). The amended soils were incubated in dark at 28 °C. Soil control was run without any amendment. After 1st, 15th, 30th, 64th and 105th day of incubation soil samples were analyzed. The bacteria were enumerated using plate methods. In all the soil samples counts of coliform bacteria and thermotolerant coliform bacteria were found to decrease with the time of incubation. Counts were approximately lower than in the first day of incubation by 1 to 2 log CFU g-1 dry soil. Enterococci were significantly affected digested sludge in a proportion of 80 t ha-1. On 105thday of incubation soil sample counts of enterococci were significantly higher than counts on the first day of incubation. In the digested sludge and bottom sediment, counts of thermotolerant coliform bacteria and enterococci were not higher than the limit for application of sludge into the soil.
