摘要：The rebuilding of the completely burned village of Kolarec (which went on from 1938 to 1941), as well as the fund-raising campaign, was organized by the Croatian Peasant Party (CPP). At first, the reconstruction was entrusted to the Zagreb Institute of Hygiene, but after a few weeks the task was assigned to architect Srećko Florschiitz, who managed the whole project, from spatial organization, architectural designs, building, supervision, to interior design. In the three-year-long rebuilding the CPP planned to turn the fire scene into a new, modem, hygienic and ideal village. In accordance with the ideology of the time, the aim set before the architect was to create an ideal type of a country house, with variations. Since the project was financed mainly through the raised funds, each house was designed for a certain number of family members. Each house should at the same time present a general type and an individual creation. Traditional forms were used in combination with contemporary building principles and the whole project was carried out according to the 1938 Village planning regulation for Savska Banovina. In short, the rebuilding of the village of Kolarec is valuable from the point of view of quality as well as the time when it was built and it is a unique example of a total design of a planned rural settlement in Croatia.
