摘要：The Croatian economy, which is still in the transition process towards an entrepreneurial market economy, is insufficiently and unsystematically developing technological parks as a model of efficient and internationally acceptable economic development subsidized by the state. A systematic correlation of science and entrepreneurial practice through the institution of technological parks results in a speeded up development of small and medium size entrepreneurship, which is founded on high technologies and represents the foundations for the dynamic development of the modern economy. Technological parks, as incubators of innovativeness and entrepreneurship, are the most efficient means for the commercialization of scientific research results. Furthermore, they lead towards a more efficient restructuring of industry, sustainable regional development, efficient implementation and development of intellectual resources and a decrease in unemployment. An unsystematic approach towards the development of technological parks in the Republic of Croatia results in numerous drawbacks in their efficiency and requires additional measures for their adequate positioning in developing Croatian economy.
