摘要：Osim » except« is usually described as a preposition which governs the genitive case. Nevertheless, there are many examples where osim can precede the nominals and pronominals with different case marking, an exception to typical prepositions behaviour. These examples are taken into consideration. There are good reasons to conclude that in relation with the genitive osim is a preposition, and in relation with other forms it is a conjunction.
