摘要：The paper presents the work on the development of an archaeological route entitled The Neanderthal Trail. The project is an original thematic unit which aims at unifying and evaluating in terms of cultural tourism the archaeological heritage pertaining to the Neanderthal man in Croatia, through the creation of a cultural route with all elements essential in the development of a comprehensive cultural-tourist product. The project will be launched in 2010, and its inauguration will coincide with the opening of a related exhibition in the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. The target audience in the narrow sense are tourists with a specific interest in archaeology and archaeological heritage and in the wider sense, cultural tourists in general.
