摘要：This work analyses the rail transport in Central Croatia, i.e. the development and characteristics of the transport network and realized traffic flows in the passenger transport. It has been found that durinh the 1990s there were modifications pointing to the change of the rail transport significance in the transport system. In Zagreb, where the railwy included in the urban and suburban transport, a transport increase has been registered, while an almost all other railways there was a transport decrease, somewhere very prominent.
