摘要：The author discusses the correctness of the form Salomon and analyzes its adjectival derivations in geographical terms (Salomonsko otočje = Solomon Islands, Salomonsko more = Solomon Sea), in the name of a state (Salomonsko Otočje = the Solomon Islands), in phrases (salomonsko rješenje = Solomonic solution, salomonska odluka = Solomonic decision) and in some plant names (salomonov pečat = Solomon's seal / sigillum Solomonis).
