摘要：The terrestrial troglobiontic snail Pholeoteras euthrix Sturany, 1904 has so far been known from caves in southern Croatia, southern Herzegovina and Greece. The finds in Croatia were in only two localities from the wider Dubrovnik region, while seven localities were found in Herzegovina, all in the region of Popovo polje. In Greece the species has been found on Corfu, a locality about 350 km distant from localities established hitherto. Our research has extended knowledge about the distribution of this species in Herzegovina and Croatia. A find on the island of Vis is the first insular discovery of Pholeoteras euthrix in Croatia.
