摘要：The aim of this paper is to present a checklist of Croatian butterflies with a list of vernacular names for all species. Recent attempts to document butterfly fauna and create a national database of butterfly distribution records in Croatia resulted in a list of 195 species. The checklist is based on records from published papers, butterfly collections from museums in Croatia, unpublished data (diaries of Zdravko Lorković, celebrated Croatian lepidopterist) and recent field surveys.
