摘要：The paper deals with Igor Meljčuk’s meaning – text model of lexical functions (LF’s) applied to collocational phrases in the Croatian language. The author points out that many simple standard lexical functions (basic LF’s and derivative LF’s) are general patterns of semantic characteristics of nounal collocations in the Croatian language. Some of the most important lexical functions (LF synonym, LF antonym, LF adjectivisation, LF prepositionalisation) are illustrated by examples from Školski rječnik hrvatskoga jezika (ŠR).
