摘要：The Ordinance on the Procedure of Registration of and the Content of the Register of Employment Contracts for Seamen and Workers on Maritime Fishing Vessels entered into force on 17th of June, 2010. In our legal system, more precisely in regulations on working relations, the obligation to register employment contracts for seamen and fishermen has existed for a long period of time. The obligation has been imposed by the international labour organisation conventions (MOR, ILO, OIT), and acquis communautaire as well. The aforesaid Ordinance regulates the procedure of registration of and the content of the register of employment contracts for seamen and workers on maritime fishing vessels. Legal notions and categories regulated by this Ordinance confirm a significant specificity of working relations of seamen and fishermen as a part of working relations within the maritime technology activities. The public legal character of these relations is highly emphasized in the article.
