摘要:The article is about the development of writing skill when teaching English to young learners. A short overview of writing skill development in the teaching of mother tongue is followed by the description of current knowledge, experience and practise, and by a section about textbook authors' attitudes and beliefs about the development of writing skill. The paper concludes with an outline of aims that English language teaching in the first grade of primary schools should reach with regard to writing.
