摘要:A quarter of a century after the beginning of the epidemic, and after as many years fighting the disease with initiatives and information on HIV and AIDS, discrimination and stigma are still very common in Botswana. The findings presented in this paper are based on a research study that was conducted in August 2010 through a questionnaire among 68 students from a junior secondary school in Gaborone, Botswana. These findings indicate that some Botswana secondary school students are very understanding, compassionate, caring and sensitive towards those who are suffering from HIV and AIDS. The paper concludes with a discussion regarding the importance of the values of tolerance, compassion and caring in the teaching of Moral Education.狓L
