摘要：Following the independence of Kosovo in February 2008 from Serbia considerable challenges were ahead for the newly born country. Essential infrastructure services for a period of a decade were significantly damaged or completely ruined during the war suffered from an underinvestment for a long period of time. According to (IMF, 2008a) more than a third of the workforce population is unemployed with the increasing number of newly force joining the market every year and heavily affecting towards increase of unemployment rate. The purpose of this research paper is, therefore, to see the effects of international aid and assistance in economic growth and poverty reduction in the post war period.
