I often meet students of Psychology from various academic departments that express certain discontent with the course and content of their studies. There are surely many reasons for frustration and it is not my aim to analyze them, though I am a bit sad that many of these complaints are quite similar to those I myself used to have some fifteen years ago. From the perspective of my experiences I presume that the basic problem lies in the very concept of the (academic) study of Psychology. There may be many sources of discontent but they all would be easier to deal with if there were clear contentual orientation. Building on the flaws of the existing I will try to outline such concept of studies. ..
