The workshop was attended by members from 10 European countries and 7 guests. They shared their experience from academic, clinical and research practices. A call for papers on „Geropsychology Across Europe“ to appear in the September issue of „GeroPsych – The Journal of Gerontopsychology and Geriatric Psychiatry“ was stressed by the convenor Dieter Ferring. Other topics, such as medicalisation of ageing (Marie-Christine Nargeot), or education of geropsychology – its state across Europe and its future, were discussed and proposals are expected by the next meeting (November 2012).
