摘要：Alejandro Posadas fue un reconocido cirujano argentino de fines del siglo XIX que murió, prematuramente, a los 32 años. A pesar de su corta carrera, realizó varios aportes originales a la medicina y a la cirugía. Entre ellos se encuentra el estudio que llevara a cabo durante 6 años de una enfermedad que llamó Psorospermiosis Infectante Generalizada y hoy conocemos como coccidioidomicosis. En este trabajo iconoiátrico se presenta parte del material que utilizó Posadas para ilustrar las publicaciones referentes a su investigación. Además se mencionan algunos aspectos sobre sus hallazgos y los descubrimientos de científicos estadounidenses que permitieron identificar el origen fúngico del agente etiológico.
其他摘要：Alejandro Posadas was a well-known Argentinean surgeon, active at the end of the XIXth century, who died prematurely at the age of 32. In spite of his short career, he made significant contributions to medicine and surgery. Over 6 years he carried out an important investigation about an illness that he called psorospermiosis infectante generalizada, today known as coccidioidomycosis. In this iconoiathric composition is displayed part of the material used by Posadas to illustrate his investigation. There are also mentioned some aspects related to his findings and to the discoveries of American scientists who led to the identification of the disease fungal origin.
