摘要:Although there is strong support for the use of science and literacy strategies at the elementary level, little research has been conducted on the issues that teachers encounter as they incorporate these new practices into their instruction. This study utilized the stages of concern of the Concerns-Based Adoption Model CBAM framework (Hall and Hord, 2006) to examine questions and challenges that arose as teachers involved in a professional development project began to adopt an integrated approach to science and literacy through the use of science notebooks (Klentschy, 2008). Specific concerns that teachers expressed and ways in which they were resolved are discussed.
