摘要：Energetic industry is one of the main sources of industrial pollution, affecting almost equally the quality of the three environmental factors, air, soil and water. Protection means against pollution are almost exclusively meant for improving combustion systems. We can consider that steam power plants generate a large amount of waste which cause significant damages to the environment, quantified within phenomena like acid rains, global warmth, ozone layer thinning etc. In the case of residual waters resulted from steam power plant specific industrial activities, special attention is paid to their physical-chemical characterization, as well as their influence on the outlet downstream from the discharge point.
