摘要：Wear resistance of the tools is differentiated by the steel and the type of the heat treatment used.This paper presents the results of some researches with thermal treatments to improve the steel OSC10 ionizing, compared with improved steel 205Cr115, from which were made punching moulds, each one performing 16000 punches in the same technological conditions. Moulds durability was assessed by: bridges structures, edges wear assessment, the quality of the disks cuts obtained by dry punch and with lubricant.
