摘要：Waste management represents one of the current problems of environmental protection. Due to the consumption increase during the recent years, but also to the increase of the non-professional technologies and installations in the industry, the produced waste quantity has increased. The best way to significantly reduce the risks presented by the dangerous substances composing the electric and electronic devices is to correspondingly manage the waste resulted from them. Worrying increases of the waste quantities are registered in the EU member states where, once in 5 years, the waste resulted from the electric and electronic devices increase with 16 – 28%, namely three times more than the average increase rhythm of the quantities of yearly generated municipal waste. The equipments resulted from the computers represent the biggest percentage of the quantity of electric and electronic waste.
