摘要：Soil erosion is a type of physical pollution of the soil, which consists of the detachment, transport and deposition of soil particles, under the action of water and wind. Determinant factors of soil erosion are: climate, topography, soil properties, rock, vegetation and anthropic activity. Types of soil erosion are: water erosion (erosion by drops, drain erosion, irrigation erosion) and wind erosion. To underline the physical pollution of soils in Gorj county, due to erosion by water and wind, was performed a case study, which was based on classification of soil types in the county, the soil surface in each locality and soil surfaces degraded by water and wind erosion, related to each locality.
