摘要：The quality of treated water is determined based on the national standards issued based on the directives of World Health Organization, by determining the quality indicators specific to international regulations. Raw water, decanted water, filtered water and water resulted from the water treatment plant related quality indicators were experimentally determined in accordance with the relevant legislation and by using the equipment from the laboratories within the specialization of Industrial Engineering and Environmental Protection; Faculty of Engineering; “Constantin Brâncuşi” University Tg-Jiu. Experimental studies prove the need to use by flow filters resulted from the improvement of ascending or descending current fast filters performances and by combining the two directions of filtration.
